What is Tantra (11) Tantra Healing Massage

Tantra Healing Massage is a safe method to heal the mind and body if you’re being held back by trauma or anxiety, stress or lack of confidence after a negative life event. When we have suffered trauma sometimes the body closes down. For men this can lead to erectile dysfunction in several forms or for women, a total shutting down of sexuality or inability to orgasm.

It’s the breathing techniques in Tantra meditation that help you to gradually free yourself from your negative life experience, enabling you to let go of past trauma invading your mind or even just to free your mind of distractions that stop you fully relaxing with your partner.

When we feel deeply relaxed or connected to our partner the body reacts in a completely different way. We feel every touch, every movement so profoundly that being in this safe trusted place brings ecstasy without even stimulating the lingam or yoni, In essence we are full of orgasmic sensations. Tantra enables us to live in the body and not in our mind. It’s an overthinking mind that creates our pain long after the event is over. Acceptance of the past allows us let it go, for the past does not define our core as a loving human being.

Tantra Healing Massage involves traditional techniques passed down over the centuries. A sacred safe space is always prepared with candlelight, a haven away from the chaos of the world.

Touch is always from the heart and follows a pattern for opening the body for pleasure and letting go of negativity through gentle, caring massage and touch. Tantric lovemaking engages all the senses, it’s the slowness of the methods that heighten the sensations and can bring a jaded soul back to life. After the experience life seems more vivid, flavours dance on your tongue and and the sun is warming your skin even during the rain. The joy of life returns, along with confidence and creativity and clarity of mind.

Tantra has a rich historical philosophy that is centred on tolerance, respect, the now, and liberation of the mind and body from the past and judgement. We are all responsible for our own life, our bodies and our love and creating honest intimacy.

What is Tantra? The Truth. (Part I) – Tantra Massage Ritual

I practice the beautiful art of Tantra Massage near Dublin, in Wicklow.

The word ‘Tantra’ has garnered so many connotations over the years similar to a myth becoming mistaken as the truth.

Classical Tantra is an ancient philosophical system of personal liberation, freedom from past conditioning and the constraints of narrow minded thinking. Allowing our authentic self to shine through, free from labels society places on us in an effort to define and limit our lives.

Liberation of the mind, body and spirit to ‘be’ and enjoy the present moment. Free from materialistic wanting/desire. Clarity descends and also belief in oneself, we are all divine and we are all responsible for our own state of mind. There are many Tantric Texts and some are only now being translated from Sanskrit into English, oral traditions and Sutras similar to parables which are a guide or design for living a life of joy, love and peace for ourselves and others.

Our bodies harbour no shame and are to be celebrated and respected. The saying ‘my body is a temple’ comes from The Tantra yogic tradition whose roots are found in Hatha Yoga and Meditation- purification of the mind- from the shackles of negative thinking, an acceptance of reality, be it positive or negative in life. Emotions and thoughts are never static they come and go. We learn to find joy in the mundane and nature and above all, awareness.

Yoga and breathwork (pranayama) purify and condition the body, awareness of movement and breath (life force) and the body. Yoga movement can also be free form, Tandava is the original form of yoga of movement. Tantra is yoga of the mind

Modern day Mindfulness has been homogenized for western palates and appropriated from Tantric and Buddhist texts.

So where does Tantra Massage fit into the spectrum? What is Tantra Massage?

The link to fantastical mind blowing sex has no foundation in the ancient texts of Classical Tantra from the Indian Saiva tradition. Neo-Tantra conceived and made trendy by modern gurus such as Osho have exploited a tenuous link from dark rituals practiced by obscure Tantric lineages which died out centuries ago. Osho and others repackaged this to Western society as enlightenment through sexuality and sexual liberation. An illusion which has tarnished the beauty and pure heart of Tantra.

When a system is taken out of context and the foundations are tenuous, the structure  easily crumbles. And so by only experiencing Tantra in its fast food guise (Neo-Tantra), the richness of the feast, the feeling of deep contentment can never be so joyously attained.

The original tantra massage is a sacred ritual contained with the Siva Sutras; of a divine human being, opening himself to the pleasure of the senses.

To experience contentment our senses must be open or awakened. In authentic Classical Tantra which I practice; this beautiful awakening takes place when one reaches a deeply relaxed or meditative state. You are then fully grounded and ‘in the moment’.  Simple enlightenment or contentment, peace from within.

Pleasure encompassing all the senses, sweet incense, beauty enjoyed by the eye, warm, heart centred touch, soothing music, and the taste of bliss in whatever form that takes.

Genuine healing Tantra massage techniques originate from the Taoist branch of Tantra, Tantra found it’s new home in Tibet, flourishing within Buddhism and in parts of Asia when Islam banished Tantra from India. In Tantra Women and Men are of equal standing though some ancient lineages worshiped The Goddess. Ayurveda massage and medicine is said to stem from Tantra.

The Tao believe all that we need to heal the body is within. When we are healthy our mind and bodies are in balance, free from depression and ill heath, etc.

Genuine Taoist Tantra healing massage is rooted in the specialist organ massage Chi Nei Tsang and Karsai/lingam massage which promotes restoration of imbalance due to illness, stress or anxiety, igniting energy (mind, body, heart) and restoring balance when used with meditation and movement.

Karsai/lingam massage or for women yoni massage is also part of a healthy lifestyle which respects the full potential for pure pleasure simply stimulated by heart centred touch, the senses and the power of breathwork.

Our sexual organs contain our source of energy. Remember the sensation of falling in love? The high, the unstoppable energy that curses through your body. Living a passionate life, loving every moment of what you do brings that same power. Meditation, yoga and massage also keep this beautiful energy flowing. If those energies lay dormant then, depression and illness can take hold

Tantra believes that there is a fusion of mind, heart and physical body. They should work in harmony rather than being pulled in different directions. Tantra Massage is also part of a spiritual life’s journey to be at one with our own body plus open to finding and exploring true intimacy with another. To enjoy the pleasure principle incorporating trust and honesty, intrinsic to a joyful life.

A Tantra Massage session reminds the soul of the infinite pleasures of life and ecstatic potential stored within all our bodies, just waiting to be ignited.

To practice as a Classical Tantra Practitioner as I do takes many years of study; philosophy, psychology and anatomy together with meditation, mindfulness, yoga and/ or qi gong. It should never be categorized as just a massage or labeled an erotic massage. For it is truly a mind, body, soul experience an awakening to a higher plane of pleasure.

Wishing you Peace and Bliss.

I can’t breathe…….

Breath work and meditation are vital components of Tantra. We can all breathe but it’s the long breath we take at times in the garden, in the forest or by the sea. When the heady scent of nature lures us. Then we want to really breathe in the freshness or the aroma of spring grass, the heady sweetness of an old fashioned rose or exotic jasmine.

We then breathe for a reason. But what better reason then our health either physical, mental or spiritual. When there is a good reason or when we decide we really want something  or want to do something apathy melts away. We find the motivation, then there is no such thing as can’t, it’s only the mind that limits our beliefs. We can if we try.

Deep breathing activates our life force, our chi, our energy and without this element, the prime benefits of Tantra and of life are lost.

We often hear about a detox for the body, some people abstain from alcohol to detox their liver. Others detox by cutting out certain food in an effort to cleanse their digestive system.

But what if we could detox our minds everyday, let go of stress, anxiety, anger and other forms of negative energy.

Deep breathing not only clears the body of toxins and revitalizes all our organs. It de-clutters our mind from the negativity that holds us back in life. We are then free to be. Free to learn and grow in a positive way. Free to find that deep peace that is often stifled by oppression.

We should never be tarnished by others who seek to judge or inflict their narrow minds, their religion, their limited view of life on us if we are seeking knowledge that allows us to reach our full potential as a person, a lover and true friend.

Tantra breath work together with movement (Yoga or Qi Gong) enables us to free our minds from past conditioning, be at one with our body and promote our health and vitality in the most natural way.

When we are in optimum health mind, body and soul, we are ageless, we defy convention.

Sensual Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness are the new buzzwords.  New articles and books are published everyday on these matters as if it’s the new thing.

Like Tantra these practices are centuries old but now many people are becoming increasingly disillusioned  with the hamster wheel of life and the freedom we thought we had gained from the internet enslaves us even more through obsessive checking with what everyone else is doing with their lives or watching acts that used to be private. Some of us are beginning to lose our sense of peace when we are constantly engaged with media and gadgets.

The mind disengages with our senses when our eyes are focused on a screen, our bodies become numb when the mind is concentrating on visual images.

I like to call Tantra massage sensual mindfulness. During a Tantra session one disconnects from stress, anxiety,  what’s happening in our usual world and enters a meditative state through breath work.  Only conscious of the sensations of the moment. Any anxiety of past sexual experiences is let go freeing one to be fully present in the beauty and ecstasy of the moment.

Tantra enables us to truly feel every touch, every tingle as the positive energy and electricity rises bringing us to a heightened state of pleasure and sensuality.

Tantra can give you a new found respect for your body as it feeds the senses in every way instead of craving fast food laden with salt and sugar and creaminess it’s the pure taste of unprocessed food, sharp, savoury and natural sweetness that sates a hunger that’s not a condition of emotions.

If our self-respect returns then so does our respect for others and most importantly our partner. Tantra in it’s purest form is about wanting give bliss in every way and to nurture a rare intimacy with another or with ourselves.

Tantra – The Power of Respect

As the grey days of winter begin to envelope us and another year passes it’s often a time when our energy begins to dip, the sun warming our faces and giving us the feel good factor seems a distant memory. This is often a time when we take comfort in artificial warmth when the authentic fire could burn so brightly within us.

(Please visit my website http://www.goddessofsensualtouch.com for full details)

Often one is drawn to Tantra through the sensual element and yes it’s a very important aspect. But all the elements have their place in a healthy life.

Respect for oneself and others is vital but often missing on a daily level. It’s about taking care, of how we treat ourselves, others, not only those we love, the food we eat and what we choose to drink and how much we drink.

Tantra massage and lifestyle raises the positive energy within ourselves and with that a new respect for ourselves and ultimately how we live. This filters through our relationships too. If we are experiencing bliss then we are filled with passion to share and give bliss to those we love. The meditation elements allow us to live life free from anxiety and lower stress levels enable us to enjoy life within contentment as striving to find happiness through material goods melts away as we realize bliss is what we can achieve from the power of of own bodies and the ability to share that state with another.

If you would like to explore Tantra further and how it can lead you to the path of of not just sensual mindfulness but can help you to overcome and let go of the past and habits which create a negative self image then you may contact me to discuss the beneficial properties 087 343 5081.

Tantra has the ability to fill your present and future with a new found respect for yourself  thus finding comfort in food via overeating, alcohol and other modern day addictions that lead to self loathing can be eradicated by nurturing and stimulating the power of positive energy through massage and meditation.

Positive energy has the power to transform how we feel about ourselves and simply put; if we feel good about ourselves then we are more aware of how our body feels and moves and what we choose to put in it and subject it to. The negative past can be let go and the blissful sunshine can be free to fill us with a warmth even through these dark winter days and nights.
